Friday Files – de Le Cuona’s new collection Ethereal Elements

These fabrics explore the beauty and rhythms of nature with a modern eye, evoking the elements and translating these into three new designs; Seahorse, Turtle Island and Shore.

Seahorse

The allure of this lightweight curtain fabric is its looped surface, achieved by the boucle yarn used to weave it. The light bounces off the fabric and plays on the loops to create the relaxed, ruffled texture.

Shore

Shore is a truly versatile dense linen which can be used for upholstery or curtaining. Woven with yarn in varied thicknesses and tones, the texture reflects the hand-woven techniques. The fabric is found in a multitude of earthy colours.

Turtle Island

Turtle Island is lightweight and perfect for curtaining with its sensuous, flowing drape. Multiple colour yarns are woven together to create a subtle pattern, reminiscent of stone surfaces. The palette is natural pastels.
