Following on from our successful exhibit at Super Expo in collaboration with Affordable Decorators, we spoke to the girls about their business and what is next for these talented Gold Coast Designers.

TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS.

We have been in business on the Gold Coast for over 35years starting out as a family business, Wallpaper Warehouse. Evolving over three generations we have now become Affordable Decorators, encompassing all aspects of decorating.

WHAT TYPE OF CLIENTS DO YOU WORK WITH?

Everybody, from those wanting to freshen up their home with a few scatter cushions right through to complete commercial projects.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BOYAC PRODUCT TO WORK WITH?

Love, love, love Thibaut wallpapers and fabrics. Fresh and perfect for Gold Coast living.

WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB?

Using beautiful, up to the minute products and working closely with our clients to create wonderful, livable spaces.

WHAT IS NEXT FOR AFFORDABLE DECORATORS?

I feel very excited about the future of our industry, and feel that in the 35 years of business we have never had the amazing range of products that is now available. This favours our vision for being a “one stop shop”, aspiring to be creative and innovative to provide results that are as unique as our clients.

As well as personal projects, we have had success in many commercial ventures. Our involvement therefore, in this sector is always expanding.
