Georges Le Manach, producing silks, velvets, linens, cottons and prints, traces its history to the very beginning of the silk industry in France and continues to provide innovative solutions to the challenge of remaining individual and successful, drawing on its' extensive design archives and modern production techniques. Included in its' range today, is the 'TOILES DE TOUR' collection, originating in the 1920's, of some 50 jacquard designs available in any of 20 colours or combinations, woven especially on a 1.00m minimum order.
The Luigi Bevilacqua company from Venice has recently completed an exhibition of its' vast archives of handmade velvets and silks at the Doge’s Palace and is one of the last remaining companies in the world to produce hand made cut silk velvets on the original 17th century looms, as well as the most fabulous, exotic lampas, jacquards, velvets and damask.
Le Crin - part of the textile division of Hermes, France, is one of only two workshops in the world, producing handwoven horsehair cloth in the same beautiful, labour intensive way it was 150 years years ago, but with breathtaking contemporary designs.

Bernie De le Couna and Domique Kieffer stand alone as examples of uncompromising integrity in the realisation of their unique collections which challenge the concept of what is new in textile - often classically simple, sometimes complex, luxurious weaves in pure linens, silk, paper, cotton in the most beautiful subtle shades imaginable.
