The latest offering from Barbara Osorio, PARATY, continues the designer’s signature aesthetic—fresh, vibrant, and full of life—infused with her unmistakable Portuguese flair. This time, the inspiration takes a more personal turn: drawn from sun-drenched holidays spent in Brazil.

Comprising six cotton-based patterns and weaves, the collection captures the spirit of a Brazilian summer. Highlights include playful cherry stripes, painterly indigo leaf motifs, and a charming still-life print reminiscent of relaxed table settings shared with loved ones. Each design is a celebration of colour, memory, and place.

As Barbara herself reflects:

“I spent many holidays and good times there with family and friends. I miss it and hope to return soon. I often remember the good food, the heat and the smell, the abundance of the Atlantic forest and the friendliness of the people. And of course, the Brazilian music that I always listen to. The patterns and colours of this collection bring back those memories.”

United by a shared reverence for contemporary design, BOYAC x ORIGINE present a curated capsule collection pairing exceptional furniture with refined textiles.

This collaboration brings together two international powerhouses: Collector—the visionary Portuguese design studio, represented by ORIGINE—and Métaphores—the iconic French fabric house, presented by BOYAC. Both are celebrated for their commitment to craftsmanship, materiality, and quiet luxury, where process is as revered as the final form.

The collaboration debuts during Melbourne Design Week 2025, transforming BOYAC’s Cremorne showroom into an immersive exploration of texture and form. Visitors are invited to engage with a dialogue between object and surface, thoughtfully composed for designers and aesthetes alike.
