20 Sep Friday Files by: BOYAC – Designer Discovery – Melanie Mackenzie from Tanner Kibble Denton Architects
This week on Friday Files we are profiling Melanie Mackenzie from Tanner Kibble Denton Architects for Designer Discovery!
This is where we give you an insight into the lives and personalities of Australia’s leading Designers.
This week we chat with Melanie Mackenzie about camping and pub meals.
NORTH OR SOUTH SIDE?
I am all about the South side!
PUB MEAL, PICNIC OR POSH RESTAURANT?
When push comes to shove nothing is better than a hearty pub meal.
PROUDEST CAREER ACHIEVEMENT?
I am always proud at the end of a job when my client thanks me. It gives me such joy when clients are so excited to exist in space which has taken so long to design.
CAMPING, GLAMPING OR BOUTIQUE HOTEL?
Camping with my family, glamping with the Hubbie and boutique hotel with girlfriends (preferably with a mini-bar stocked full with French bubbles!)
WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE 8?
I have always wanted to be an architect, even when I was eight.
BOOKS, MAGAZINES OR BLOGS?
I love blogs because they can give me an immediate source of information or inspiration in a quick and palatable way.
