Hollywood’s Golden Age has come to Brisbane in the form of costumes, props and cinema paraphernalia. The museum of Brisbane will exclusively host the Costumes from the Golden Age of Hollywood exhibition from now until the 24th May 2015. The amazing collection dates back to the 1920’s up to the 1960’s and comprises of 70 costumes, dozens of accessories and photographs. Brisbane resident Nicholas Inglis is the sole owner of all pieces on display having started collecting the memorabilia over 20 years ago. Famous stars to have donned the costumes include Barbara Streisand, Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly.
If you are out and about in Brisbane City, make sure to stop by the Museum and take a look. Admission is free and it is open everyday from 10am – 5pm.
