This Friday, with DesignEX around the corner, we celebrate the joint 25th birthday of BOYAC and DesignEX. Both businesses have been devout supporters of the design industry and have watched many designers come of age locally and abroad.
BOYAC, started from the humble beginnings of a shop front on Glenmore Road in Paddington in 1988. They are now internationally recognised as the most important distributor of fabrics, lighting, wallpaper and passementrie.
Initially representing predominately French fabric houses BOYAC have diversified into Italy, the UK, America and now Switzerland with their most recent acquisition Creation Baumann. The commitment to sustainability and importance of ethical business practice Creation Baumann strive for resonated with BOYAC’s own code of conduct, making it a perfect fit.
BOYAC currently operates three showrooms across Australia: Melbourne (HQ), Sydney and Brisbane with agencies covering Adelaide and Perth.
