Introducing part one of the exclusive 2014 collection;
When designing the latest collection Bernie de le Cuona explored the heady combination of surface texture and subtle colour to create fabrics of a high level of sophistication for understated interiors.
Embroided and stonewashed linens appear as much-loved fabrics from another time, sumptuous soft shades in velvets to add contrast and glamour.
Bernie’s interpretation of colour draws from her travels – rich shades of Italian fresco’s and chalky tones of a gesso painting become an inspiration; shades of sea blue and shell pink are off set with smokey tones of grey and charcoal.
