Friday Files – RIGG DESIGN PRIZE 2018

Now on! Recognising excellence in Australian design, the Rigg Design Prize is the highest accolade for contemporary design in Australia. The triennial prize is awarded to an Australian design practice displaying outstanding creative achievements in contemporary design. Melbourne design practice and Boyac client Hecker Guthrie was awarded the prize.

The Rigg Design Prize 2018 participants are Amber Road, Arent&Pyke, Danielle Brustman, Flack Studio, David Hicks, Hecker Guthrie, Martyn Thompson Studio, Richards Stanisich, Scott Weston Architecture Design and The Society Inc by Sibella Court

Arent&Pyke’s exquisite room ‘Home: Feast, Bathe, Rest’ features our de Le Cuona Antique Paisley, Dragonfly and Meadow fabrics. We were honoured to have been chosen by the practice to feature in their installation, exploring what they consider to be the essential functions of a contemporary domestic interior.
