Now that we are well and truly into spring, it is not surprising that many of us are drawn to lightweight and cool textile choices. Predictably floral takes centre stage, whilst fabrics traditionally associated with the winter months fade into the background.

However, contrary to popular belief, fabrics such as wool are in fact just as appropriate for the warmer months as they are for the chillier times of the year.

Wool is a magnificent textile, if you consider it in terms of its innate function to shelter sheep; wools qualities are in fact quite versatile. In addition to being naturally water and fire resistant, this organic textile is also surprisingly breathable!
