This week on the Blog we are heading down a different road of fabrics and admiring the fashion from one of the many days during the Spring Racing Carnival of 2014- Derby Day.
The women held up the classical tradition of the black and white in some of the most gorgeous frocks to date.  With such a diverse range of styles they individually hold a prominent look.

TRUE OR FALSE?  The trend of wearing of black and white to Derby Day was started by an alcohol company who ran a competition for the best dressed lady in these monochrome colours? The trend was so popular that it remains with us to this day, long after the sponsorship from the alcohol company has discontinued. Email melbourne@boyac.com.au with your answer!

Here at Boyac we appreciate fabric in any shape or form- As mentioned previously in our blog, our very own Le Crin fabric has been used to create millinery. See below the few women that we have selected that truly shined on this cloudy day.
