Tamarama Apartment

NIGHT IN OR NIGHT OUT?

In winter, definitely in with a nice shiraz and lots of candles….

In summer, outside enjoying the long twilight…

CITY, COUNTRY OR BEACH TO HOLIDAY?

Do I have to choose? They’re all wonderful!

I live at the beach, In Sydney’s Tamarama, so I’m lucky to experience that year- round.

Holidays in cities are a great source of inspiration for me personally and professionally.

In the last few years I’ve visited Milan for the Salone, Paris, L.A, New York, London, Bangkok and Istanbul.

They’ve all influenced my approach to life, and interiors.

WHICH DESIGNERS / CREATIVE PEOPLE INSPIRE YOU RIGHT NOW?

I Love Joseph Dirand’s Interiors in Paris, especially Chloe’s new Paris flagship store fit out.

WHAT WAS THE LAST GREAT MEAL YOU ENJOYED?

Sefa Kitchen on Bondi Road for modern Middle Eastern food. It’s cozy, low key and charming, with beautifully spiced food by ex Rockpool chef Simon Zalloua.

FAVOURITE SYDNEY SUBURB AND WHY?

Sydney has so many beautiful places; it’s really hard to choose…

I find being near the ocean incredibly uplifting, so I’d have to say Tamarama or Bronte.
