Métaphores is an inspiring and contemporary fabric house belonging to the Hermès’ textile division.

Introducing the new capsule collection, Concorde, a linen velvet produced for the first time.This exclusive range showcases the excellence and rarity of this velvet. The fabric requires meticulous preparation of the weave for each colour, followed by an artisanal dyeing process.

This linen velvet has a thick weave with long, flexible fibres of incomparable depth and luxury. Perfectly suited to upholstery, it’s voluptuous texture creates a soft and inviting feel in which to sink your hands.

This new fabric from Metaphores also illustrates the house’s commitment to the environment. A natural and eco-friendly textile fibre known for its strength and softness, linen contributes to soil preservation as it requires no fertilizers and relatively little water.

This fabric, grown in Northern France, carries the MASTERS OF LINEN® label which represents excellence and innovation for linen 100% made in Europe, from field to fabric.

The Concorde capsule collection is available in a palette of thirteen natural shades.
