This week we spoke to Gold Coast based designer Claire Ball from Look Interiors. Claire has worked on projects from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast and everywhere in between. Her willingness to use wallpaper and colourful fabrics allows her to create classic interiors with interesting twists. Aside from decorating Claire also offers Property Styling as part of her services.
When did you know you wanted to be in design?
Since I was young, I just took a different track. I started out part time about 6 years ago but am now busy enough to work full time.
What is your favorite Boyac product?
I love Thibaut wallpaper and fabric. The colours and patterns are so fresh.

What do you love the most about being a designer?
Helping people have the home they have always dreamed of!
How would you describe your style?
Contemporary, classic, liveable, friendly and happy
Best moment in your career
Lots! There have been so many moments that it is really tough to choose from but when your clients ask “can I hug you, I can’t believe it” That is a pretty good feeling.
Pattern or Plain?
60% plain, 40% pattern. You need a mix to make it interesting!
