LETTER FROM PARIS

Bonjour! Hot off the plane from a chilly but inspiring week in Paris, we cannot wait to share the latest news and ideas presented at Paris Deco Off & Maison Object. This year was bursting with colour and fun!

Pantone’s 2024 Colour of the Year “Peach Fuzz” certainly didn’t disappoint. This colour was strong throughout the collections.

Whether we were walking the streets of St Germain, visiting our supplier showrooms, or attending a cocktail party on Ile Saint-Louis, we were dazzled with inspiration. New ideas, silhouettes, textures and colours from our favourite European & North American suppliers were in abundance.

One highlight was the IKSEL Private cocktail party and new collection launch on Ile Saint-Louis, in the 17th Century Hotel Particulier with 4 metre ceilings and spectacular views over the Seine. This was a spectacular backdrop to the latest collections from IKSEL

A packed house at rue de Furstenberg for the showcase of the new METAPHORES “Les Bains” collection. Creative Director Emilie Paralitici presented the collection, surrounded by a curated room of pieces decorated in the new fabrics featuring meticulous detail and timeless elegance.

A coll Transylanian mood was brought to Paris with the MIND THE GAP launch party for “La Dolce Vita” collection launch. Complete with DJ and cocktails, this party reflected the kooky fun that is synonymous with the new supplier to BOYAC.

With sustainability top of mind globally, our suppliers are looking to the future with their sourcing and manufacturing – we saw a lot of recycled yarns in man-made fibres and wool & cotton yarns.

These collections will be in the showroom next month – we look forward to sharing with you then.
