Metaphores Collaboration – The Akar Collection
Atelier Pendhapa and Metaphores present the Akar collection. Atelier Pendhapa, the London and Singapore-based architecture and furniture design studio, has decided to partner with Metaphores to create nine different pieces of furniture, each showcasing a different horsehair Le Crin fabric. The weaving of the horsehair is made in Challes in France’s Sarth region, the factory is nowadays the only workshop in the world in which horsehair is woven by hand. The essence of the collaboration was for Atelier Pendhapa to best showcase the fabric’s unique characteristics.

Home and Garden, April 2023.
This beautiful design by Lucinda Kimpton Interiors who is a long-time supporter of Boyac, having started her career in the design world with Boyac several years ago.
Inspired by the backdrop of rolling hills and many beautiful trees in the surrounding paddocks, Lucinda boldly opted to line several of the rooms in Iksel scenery wallpaper. The first paper selected was the Italian Panorama design for the formal dining room, which set the tone for the sitting room and entry hall.
