The quintessential Milanese Gallery PalermoUno combines colour and pattern with a mix of eclectic furniture and interior pieces to reflect the up and coming designs of now. Every six months the space is entirely redesigned to present new creative visions. For the 2019 Milan Salone del Mobile, Creations Metaphores was the exclusive Textile partner, creating an eccentric and playful display to ignite inspiration.

Opening its office during Milan Design Week, a host of international designers gave the Italian Vogue headquarters a temporary makeover. Designer Pierre-Marie took over the talent room, creating an inspiring and unique space with a mix of Creations Metaphores and Verel De Belval fabrics.

Creations Metaphores Montaigne fabric was carefully selected for the new furniture collection by Stephane Parmentier x Maison Pouenat. Upholstered on the Tranquille Daybed, the use of the 100% mohair velvet gives great dimension with its partnering material, polished brass.

Verel De Belval in the new InterContinental Lyon Hotel Dieu

The opening of the InterContinental Lyon has come after 4 years of extensive restoration and renovation. One of the city’s most iconic buildings, renowned Interior Designer Jean-Philippe Nuel incorporated Verel De Belval extensively throughout the hotel and maintained the original beauty and architecture of the building.

Verel de Belval created custom silk prints that have been used on screen panels, cushions and soft furnishings in both the rooms and public areas of the hotel.
